Rumble

The Star, Sydney

Rumble is a South East Asian restaurant at The Star that plays with contrast and rhythm. The interior is bold and cinematic, balancing sculptural geometry with intimate layers of texture and light. Working closely with Far East, we imagined a space that captures the theatre of the kitchen and the energy of the city. Dark timber, brushed metal, deep red tones and glowing amber light create an atmosphere that shifts from lively and social to warm and immersive. The design draws on the sensory richness of South East Asia while keeping a contemporary edge that feels distinctly Sydney.
