Musson QVB

Queen Victoria Building, Sydney

Musson QVB is the flagship boutique for Australian fine jewellery house Musson, located inside the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney CBD. The brief asked us to design a store that could match the weight of one of Sydney's most loved heritage building while holding the Musson brand in its own right. The response is a restrained material palette of cream marmorino plaster, brushed brass, terrazzo and warm timbers, set against the existing sandstone and arches. Bespoke joinery, a curved consultation alcove and a small number of richly crafted moments do the visual work, so the jewellery remains the focus rather than the interior.

The store was shortlisted for Retail Design at the 2026 Australian Interior Design Awards.
